One of the most critical situations for any patient is not being able to breathe and as an asthmatic I really understand how scary this can be; in an emergency this is even more vital. I have found it so reassuring to discover how managing each of the tricky varying emergency airway situations is being planned for. Using best research of current practice, clear information on carrying out all procedures as well as comprehensive record keeping is helping me to appreciate how much the safe care of the patient is paramount in these situations.
