Take part in our survey on hospital mortality reporting
We wish to understand the importance and value of hospital mortality reporting from the public’s perspective. Please help us by completing and sharing this survey with members of the public.

The National Office of Clinical Audit is conducting an external review of the National Audit of Hospital Mortality (NAHM) led by Prof Alex Bottle, Professor of Medical Statistics, Imperial College London. As part of this work, we are consulting with the public through a brief (<10 minute) survey.
This survey aims to understand the importance and value of hospital mortality reporting to the public and to explore the awareness of the National Audit of Hospital Mortality.
We are seeking adults aged 18 or over who live in the Republic of Ireland to participate in this survey. We would be extremely grateful if you would complete this anonymous survey and circulate this information throughout your networks.
This information will be used to inform recommendations to improve public reporting from the National Audit of Hospital Mortality. No individual who completes the survey will be identified in the presentation of the findings. The summary findings will be included in our final report on the NOCA website in 2022. The survey will be available for two weeks until Friday 18th February at 12pm.
If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Dr Maria Kehoe, PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher, NOCA mariakehoe@noca.ie
