Launch of the Irish Hip Fracture Database 2017-2021
Chief Executive Officer of the HSE, Mr Stephen Mulvany, launched the Irish Hip Fracture Database (IHFD) National Report 2021 on December 14th at the Irish Hip Fracture Meeting 2022. The 2021 report places a key focus on Improvement over Time. This report explores the trends in case mix, standards and outcomes, and covers the 5-year period from 2017 to 2021. This report highlights many improvements seen across all hospitals that deliver care to patients following a hip fracture.
