Career Opportunity: NOCA Cardiovascular Audit Programme - Audit Manager

NOCA is establishing a programme of cardiovascular national clinical audits and are now seeking to recruit an Audit Manager. The first two audits in this portfolio will be the National Stroke Audit and the National Acute Coronary Syndrome Audit.

We are currently seeking applications for a National Cardiovascular Audit Programme - Audit Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic and fast-paced NOCA team.

This is a major national programme of quality improvement. The successful candidate will be part of a team of multidisciplinary experts delivering on a programme of innovative audits. The information coming from these audits will support those who deliver, manage and plan healthcare and drive improvement across the system. Information will also be publically available.

The Audit Manager will work closely with the Clinical Leads to ensure the audits meet their aims and objectives. They will also ensure compliance to NOCA best practice standards, processes and procedures. They will promote the use of the audit data and support service providers to use their audit data.

The person will have a strong understanding of the Irish healthcare system, outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and be at ease working with a wide variety of stakeholders including clinicians, managers, policy makers, patients and the public.
