NOCA Annual Conference 2026

The NOCA Annual Conference 2026 will take place on Tuesday 10th February 2026, in association with RCSI Charter Week. This will be an in-person event, taking place from 9:30am-4:30pm in RCSI, 26 York Street, Dublin 2. The theme for this year's event is ‘From Audit to Action: A Culture of Improvement’.

The theme for this year’s event is From Audit to Action: A Culture of Improvement’.

We have a varied programme of speakers and panellists, as well as a number of healthcare exhibitors to interact with during the breaks. The event will see the launch of the Irish Heart Attack Audit National Report 2024, as well as the NOCA Impact Report 2026.

The event programme will be available to view in early January.

The event recording and copies of presentations will be made available within one week of the event via the NOCA website.

CPD points will be available for this event by and Certificates will be issued to all delegates within two weeks of the event.

NOCA Quality Improvement Champion Award 2026

 We are opening our call for submissions for the NOCA Quality Improvement Champion Award 2026. The NOCA Quality Improvement Champion Award recognises an individual or team who has made best use of national, regional or local clinical audit data to improve patient care in their healthcare organisation. There will be two categories this year – 1. National/Regional and 2. Local. Closing date for submissions is 12pm on Wednesday 14th January 2026 and must be sent to auditinfo@noca.ie.

Call for Abstracts for the NOCA Annual Conference 2026

We invite healthcare professionals, audit teams, quality improvement practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the conference. Abstracts should showcase how data have been used to:

  • identify opportunities for improvement

  • test and implement change

  • embed learning into everyday practice

  • improve outcomes, experience, safety or equity of care.

We particularly welcome submissions that demonstrate a clear link between audit findings and improvement action, including learning from challenges and lessons learned along the way.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 12pm on Wednesday 14th January 2026.The Evaluation Committee’s decision will be communicated by 5pm on Friday 16th January 2026. If you have any questions regarding the conference or abstract submission, please contact us at auditinfo@noca.ie.

An award will be presented on the day for the Best Poster, recognising excellence in using data to drive real-world change.
