IDR Background

NOCA welcomes the announcement by Kieran O’ Donnell, Minister of State with responsibility for Older People on development of a Dementia Registry, a key commitment in  the ‘Programme for Government 2025, Securing Ireland’s Future’.  The Irish Dementia Registry (IDR) is a clinically led development project which will record prospective data on people with progressive neurodegenerative dementia.
