The Irish Hip Fracture Meeting 2021 will take place via webinar on Monday 4th October 2021. The event will see the launch of the Irish Hip Fracture Database National Report 2020.

The focus of the webinar will be on the resilience shown by staff across Irish hospitals throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Irish Hip Fracture Database National Report 2020 shows very clearly the continued dedication to high-quality care for hip fracture patients in Ireland. The importance of staying active at home will also be highlighted.

Minister Mary Butler, Minister of State for Mental Health & Older People will officially launch the report and Mr Conor Hurson, Clinical Orthopaedic Lead, will present the 2020 key findings. Other confirmed speakers include the following:
